INTRODUCTION
Kao Yung Steel Enterprise Co., Ltd. was established in 1968. The company has committed to excellence in product quality and product innovation since inception. This was done through continuously improving production technology and facilities as well as developing new products based on market demands and in house R & D. As a result, the company is able to keep ahead of its competitors in the industry and survives many economic downturns. The company also emphasizes on customer satisfaction by providing high quality products and on time deliveries. It is the company's goal to stay in this superior competitive position and continue to serve its customers in the future. Followings are the major milestones in the company's history.
 Established in July, 1968 with initial total net equity of NT$3 million. Steel angle bar was the main product then.
- In 1980 successfully developed and produced various types of window section bars mainly to be exported to Singapore and Middle-East countries.
- In 1986 upgraded the production facility in the rolling mill by system automation and better plant layout.
- In 1988 successfully developed and produced light rails, elevator guide rails and rear corner post inner ( steel channel bar) etc. special profile.
- In 1994 added to its product processing capability by purchasing a set of special planing machine from Germany. This facility will be used mainly to process elevator guide rails.
THE PAST AND THE FUTURE
 Kao Yung Steel Enterprise CO., Ltd. has successfully developed and manufactured Window Section Bars, Special Angle Bars, Channel Bars, and other special purpose steel bars during the past twenty years. It is the company's speciality in developing and manufacturing various types of special purpose profiles with hot rolling techniques. In recent years, Kao Yung has concentrated on improving the techniques of both processing and manufacturing Elevator Guide Rails based on the experiences cumulated. It is the management's intention to keep on building up this precious experience and continue to provide our customers with high quality products. The future of Kao Yung relies heavily on the satisfaction level of our customers. |
